Care Co-Coordinator

We are currently seeking an Experience Domiciliary Care Coordinator on a part-time basis (15 hours per week) for our East Kilbride office to support the management of our operations.

Salary
The full-time salary for this role (on 37 hours per week) starts from £27,000 per annum, dependent on experience (pro rata for the part-time position).
Responsibilities:
- Organise and coordinate the delivery of services, including managing care plans, work schedules, and care rosters.
- Contribute to the development, monitoring, and review of service policies and practice guidelines.
- Ensure a high standard of care by conducting regular reviews and evaluations.
- Be available to take the on-call phone every second weekend (with additional pay).
- Support the Care Manager in preparation for inspections and visits.
- Ensure that all recommendations and instructions are implemented as requested.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GDPR regulations.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience with managing care plans and rosters.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments.
- Skilled in communicating with current and prospective supported individuals and their family members.
- Strong knowledge of effective service delivery practices.
- Supervisory experience, including conducting meaningful supervisions, is desirable.
- Must hold or be working towards SVQ 4 in Social Care.
- Experience in coordinating staff and managing rotas.
- Certifications in Health & Safety, First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Moving & Handling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
· Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scotland PVG Act 2007. Successful applicants MUST register for the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience working using care management systems, rostering and service delivery monitoring systems.
- Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Outlook.
- Valid UK driving license with access to a personal vehicle.
- Current registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
